Question: Moderate pelvic fluid and involuted cyst?
Question by proud to serve: Moderate pelvic fluid and involuted cyst? Diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome at age 10. Had MRI last week for liver and they scanned the pelvis as well. I have had cysts as long as I can remember, and had some free fluid. Never anything to worry about. The results I got today are confusing. “Moderate free fluid within the pelvis” and “involuting cyst within the left ovary 2.1×1.5 cm. Should the amount of fluid found be of concern. And what in the world is “involuting cyst”? I have seen simple, complex ect. On my reports…
